Tirangaguid : A Symbol of Unity and Patriotism

The Tiranga, India’s national flag, carries profound symbolic significance and represents the core values of the nation such as unity, freedom, and identity. It reflects the spirit, sacrifices, and determination of the Indian people while showcasing the country’s rich heritage, diverse culture, and strong sense of independence. This tricolour flag, proudly known as the “Tiranga,” stands as a reminder of the countless individuals who contributed to India’s freedom struggle and continues to evoke feelings of pride, respect, and patriotism among Indians worldwide.

Origin and History of the tirangaguid

The history of the Indian national flag traces back to a time even before India achieved independence. The present design of the Tiranga was officially approved by the Constituent Assembly of India on July 22, 1947, shortly before the country became an independent nation on August 15, 1947. However, the development of the flag began much earlier, with its origins reaching back to the early years of the 20th century.
